Our current process yields a very high amount of waste combined with reusable product. Arkin Custom Processing was able to crush the waste fine enough to separate the reusable product from the waste. Now, we ship them what was previously our waste, and they ship back a small truckload of our expensive reclaimed product that we put back into production. By doing this, we have cut down on initial product costs by 67%. That in turn saves us about $74,000 a year, while our Arkin Custom Processing contract costs us about $37,000 a year including shipping. That means we pocketed $47,000 more than the previous year, without any equipment, employee, or utility hassles.
